Maker: Habitat [ UK ]
Year: 1998
Size: D/W 178 x H 57
Condition Report: Great vintage condition. Only very minor signs of age and use.

Crafted from heavy, fluidly shaped glass, the [ Urchin ] ashtray perfectly captures the space-age, biomorphic aesthetic of legendary industrial designer Marc Newson.
Its organic, slightly deformed circular silhouette echoes the iconic fluid curves of his famous Orgone furniture series. The heavy glass features 15 smooth, machine-cut cigarette rests along the upper rim.
The design originated in 1995 as a promotional commission for the Swedish tobacco brand Blend. Newson later produced a solid green crystal version for the tables of London's ultra-trendy Coast Restaurant. Recognizing its brilliant sculptural appeal, design director Tom Dixon brought a mass-market, hollow glass version to British retailer Habitat in 1998, instantly turning a utilitarian object into a highly collectible piece of late-90s pop culture.

The Gastone trolleys defining feature is its articulated folding mechanism, which allows the two-tier trolley to collapse almost completely flat with a simple movement. The trays and supporting frame move together in an accordion-like action, reducing the trolley from 62 cm deep when open to just 23 cm when folded.
The structure combines a slim chrome-plated steel frame with polished aluminium feet and two trays formed from glass-fibre-reinforced nylon. The trays are finished with a scratch-resistant coating, giving the relatively lightweight construction the durability required for everyday use.
Mounted on four castors, Gastone is designed to move easily while remaining stable in use. Its mechanical hi-tech construction is deliberately exposed rather than concealed, making the folding action an integral part of its visual character.

By the mid-1990s Oakley had cemented itself as a leader in innovative eyewear, but founder Jim Jannard wanted something that would set the brand apart entirely.
This ambition gave rise to X-Metal, a titanium alloy that became the foundation of Oakley’s most legendary frames.
The X-Metal line debuted in 1997. First with the Romeo, and later with the Mars and Juliet
Described by Oakley as “an evolutionary application of a new metallurgical process and a breakthrough in structural physics.” Built to withstand extreme stress, they are ready for anything you can put them through.
The X-Metal collection remains the clearest expression of Oakley’s ethos, no other sunglasses carry the same history, innovation, or cult following.
Fully serviced, this original Gen 1 Romeo is as fresh as ever.

Designer: BMW design team + Designworks
Maker: BMW [ Germany ]
Year: 2001 - 2004
Size: L 851 x H 160 x W 279
Condition Report: Excellent condition. Never ridden, wheels are immaculate. Some light wear to board and trucks with age from moving and storage. Spare grip tape and original carry case included.
.
The BMW StreetCarver is not just a skateboard, a design icon born from BMW’s German engineering and lifestyle design division. Produced only from 2001 to 2004, the StreetCarver borrowed suspension concepts directly from the BMW 5 Series, paired with a snowboard-style wood and fiberglass deck. The result is a carving experience that tilts and leans through turns unlike any traditional longboard, capturing the feel of surfing or snowboarding on asphalt.
This example is especially rare. Unused and complete with the original BMW carry bag [an accessory seldom seen on the market] as well as spare grip tape. With its oversized 110 mm cambered wheels and precision steering system, the StreetCarver was celebrated with international design awards and even named one of Time Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2001. Every detail, from the progressive kinematics to the grip-taped deck, reflects BMW’s dedication to form, function, and innovation.
Made in Germany, the StreetCarver has long been sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts alike. More than a board, it represents a short but groundbreaking era where automotive engineering met board sport culture. In unused condition with its original bag, this piece stands as both a rideable work of engineering art and a museum-worthy collectible.

Maker: Alessi [ Italy ]
Year: 1986 [ first Alessi production ]
Size: D/W 160 x H 70
Condition report: Vintage condition. Steel outer has scratching and dents visible, purely aesthetic wear that does not affect the function.
.
A part of the MoMa’s permanent collection, and the larger of the two sizes produced, the Spirale ashtray perfectly reflects Castiglioni’s ethos of marrying elegance and practicality. A functional item that also reads as refined sculptural form, visually intriguing with an easily noticeable function while lacking the usual clues of an ashtray.
A double wall 19/10 steel bowl holds a tension fitted oversized spring that offers the perfect spacing to neatly hold a cigarette.
Will plenty of use of the years, the outer has a number of dents, which in out opinion only add to the charm.
As with any ashtray we sell, it’s function today is much broader, acting as a great incense tray, or catch all for keys and coins alike.

The Melaina chair is a landmark of Space Age furniture design. Conceived at a moment when new materials and manufacturing techniques were radically reshaping domestic objects, Melaina embodies the era’s optimism through its fluid geometry, continuous surface, and sculptural presence. Its seamless monoblok shell reflects Bonetto’s background in automotive and industrial engineering, where ergonomics and structural clarity were paramount.
Moulded from a single piece of hand-finished fiberglass, the chair forms a deep, enveloping seat defined by soft curves and balanced proportions. The absence of visible joins or mechanical fixings gives the design a striking purity, while the generous bucket profile offers both visual lightness and surprising comfort.
Produced by Driade during the early 1970s, Melaina stands as one of Bonetto’s most iconic furniture designs and an enduring expression of Italian modernism. Equally suited to contemporary interiors or collector-led settings, it remains a powerful statement piece rooted in a period of fearless design experimentation.

Size: H 520 — Small D 470 × 240 — Large 400 × 400
Condition report: Great vintage condition. The raw nature of the design shows surface wear and tarnishing as intended. The seats have been oiled for a protective layer, as this can be done to the entire stools if desired.
.
Designer Gary Hunt produced a range of one-off furniture pieces in the 1990s for the local art and design scene. Often created as store fit outs for the likes of Zambesi, Workshop and similar.
This pair of gently concave steel stools were likely made for Zambesi, however we are unable to confirm this for certain. The steel legs align with similar pieces seen from the store.
Honest in his material choice of steel, surfaces are left raw, showing age and wear in a beautiful way. A very special pair, we’ve priced them together so they remain as a set from here on out.
