A collaboration between Emeco and Coca Cola, the 111 Navy chair is made entirely of recycled plastic bottles, 111 of them to be precise. An effort from both companies to solve the growing problem of consumer waste and how it can be up-cycled into functional and long lasting pieces for the future.
Maintaining the same form as the iconic aluminium 1006 chair, designed by Emeco in 1944 for the US Navy, the utilitarian approach is functional, comfortable and practically indestructible. The durable nature alongside the fully recycled plastic construction makes these a industry leader when it comes to sustainable design.
