The Eames Segmented Tables are group of dining, work and conference tables designed with modularity in mind. Each part of the base is fashioned from segments (hence the name) right down to individual feet, columns and cross beams. This lead to the ability to adjust and customise the table to perfectly suit the needs of the consumer.
While to top of the table does play a key role, ultimately the success of this design centred around the tables base. In this case, we received the base with no original top. So the addition of a square table top continues to initial ideas of the design, in allowing it to be adjusted and used to this day.
