Designer: Robin Day

Maker: Hille, UK - Produced in NZ by ZIP

Year: 1972

Size: H 690 x D 570 x W 560

Condition Report: Good vintage condition. No cracking to the plastic seat. Steel legs show wear with age, paint scuffing and scratching. Seat has faded in places, with slight blemishes mainly on the lower seat. Reach out for detailed images.

.

A Playful take on the classic tub chairs of the 1970s, a single piece of injection moulded plastic creates the main form of the chair. Designed for Hille in the UK, this version was produced locally in NZ under licence by Zip.

A grey painted sled base give the chair a great lightness, further emphasised by the perforated holes that line the seat and backrest. A great detail that offers both the functionality of water drainage and airflow, alongside adding some unique character to the chair.

Perfect for use either inside or out, the lightweight construction is easily movable and built to handle the elements, even over 50 years after it was produced.
