A Playful suspension lamp, centred around 10 original Campari Soda bottles, the history of this lamp began in 1932. In this year, Fortunato Depero created the Campari Soda bottle, which was sold and quickly gained cult status. It became so famous, that its original design hasn't changed since that time. Years later in 2002 the team at Ingo Maurer takes this iconic bottle design and transform its function drastically.
With a single downwards bulb, surrounded by 10 bottles, a beautiful soft red glow is achieved. Each bottle is individually demountable, so you can easily change the lamps appearance. Classic Maurer details are seen such as the use of steel wire, coloured details and mirrored bulbs.
A special touch, the Campari bottle cap on the wire is used to adjust the height of the lamp while mounted, ensuring a perfect balance of light can be achieved.
