Size: H780 x W380 x D584
.
The Planes Chair explores the intersections between flat planes of sheetmetal to make a functional, utilitarian furniture piece. Planes Chair references back to the simplified geometric forms of the De Stijl movement (1917-1931).
Created by NZ designer James McNab, now based in Melbourne, the chair is comprised of 3 intersecting sheets of 10mm anodised aluminium in a beautiful contrast of tones. The anodised finish is incredibly durable, far more resistant to scratching and marking compared with powder-coating. perfect proportions ensure a surprisingly comfortable seating experience despite the linear appearance.
Made to order with a lead time of 10 weeks.
