sold out

Designer: Achille Castiglioni

Maker: Kartell - Italy

Year: 1967

Size: D/W 420 x H 430

Condition Report: Good vintage condition. Light scuffing inline with age. lid / tabletop has been replaced previously, slightly different tone. This seems to be glued in place so cannot be removed like usual. Cushion has been professionally reupholstered in Warwick Fabrics Gyro Pumice.

.

Designed in 1967, by brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Kartell. The ‘Rochetto’ stool was a huge success in ABS plastic design, seeing the use of 2 identical halves come together to create a bold and sculptural form that is balanced in both beauty and function.

The circular cushions can be removed, leaving a flat surface, making this ideal as either a stool or side table.
