Condition Report: Good vintage condition. Painted surfaces shows slight wear with age, 1cm paint chip to one side of the shade. Flexible plastic connectors have tarnished with time, and the top layer of plastic has scraped off in places. Only visible up close. Reach out for detailed images.

An impressive task light, designed and produced locally in NZ during the 70s. Using a unique method to achieve a flexible neck, the lamps is made up of 20+ plastic ‘vertebrate’ that snap together under tension, yet flex, bend and lock in place when moved around.
Adjustable into a wide range of positions, the lamp works well as a low floor lamp next to a chair, or equally well on a desk as a task light.
A great piece of local NZ space age design, we think it makes an intriguing addition to a contemporary interior space!
