Vintage 'Orione' Pendant Lamp by Guzzini

NZ$895.00
sold out

Designer: Ermanno Lampa and Sergio Brazzoli

Maker: Harvey Guzzini

Year: 1968

Size: H 340 x D/W 350 - cable length 3m

Condition Report: Great vintage condition. Fully rewired and functioning perfectly. Plastic shade is pristine aside from one small chip to the lower edge. Original diffuser included.

.

A rare acrylic pendant lamp in a bold orange colour. Offering a stunning warm glow and an intriguing form, the 2 sides of the shade appear to fold down on one another, held in place by ornamental chrome bolts.

a few versions were produced in both orange and white, this one including the optional diffuser that slots into the base of the pendant. Softening the light, it makes things much more suitable for use over a table or countertop, and echoes the gentle curves of the main shade.

A unique combination of geometric curves and clean horizontal and vertical lines, the overall form feel very refined.

NOTE: Currently fitted with a standard wall plug, it would need professional installation into the ceiling for a more permanent setting.

Vintage or new, let us know if you'd like us to track down another one.
