.

Stunning set of 4 Trieste folding chairs with white painted finish and cane seating. A chair that has inspired many similar design and reproductions over the years, there’s always something special about the originals.

A simple slotted hinge allows for each chair to easily transition between the very slim folded form and the expanded chair. Clean linear lines are balanced with slight curves to the footing and backrest, adding just that little bit of extra comfort.

The design won first prize at the 18th Trieste Fair, 1966, and was included in the 'Chairs' exhibition at the Museé des Arts Decoratifs, Paris 1968.
